Stanley J. Durtan, Ed.D. – Associate
Stan Durtan’s professional efforts in recent years have focused on School Board Development and school board and administrative staff team building as well as on mentoring educators as they seek to maximize their career potential. He has conducted searches for school superintendents. The Roles and Responsibilities of school boards is a particular area of interest and expertise.
Stan’s 35-plus years of experience in public education include extensive experience in a variety of line and staff administrative positions. He was a Superintendent in Pennsylvania for more than 20 years and has been an Assistant Superintendent, High School Principal, Middle School Principal, School Psychologist and English Teacher. Stan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell Uyniversity, a Master’s degree from Bucknell University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia.
